Lu Verne Board of Education Passes Resolution on School Vouchers

The Board of Education at the Lu Verne CSD passed a resolution on Feb 18, 2021 that states we feel that privatization and vouchers do not benefit students or public schools. Federal law states that there will ALWAYS be a lowest 5% in our state and our school or our neighboring schools could be next.  We feel that if vouchers pass this will become a much bigger issue down the road.  The way this law is written makes it so those private schools do not have to follow the same rules as public schools.  We feel that this is an unfair law for public schools and public school students and should not be passed.
