School will not be in session on Monday,January 18th, due to a teacher inservice.

SECOND QUARTER/FIRST SEMESTER ENDS

Friday, January 15th, is the last day of the second quarter/first semester. Report cards will be mailed the following week.

WINTERFEST ACTIVITIES

WINTERFEST coronation will be held on Thursday, January 21st at the CWL High School at 7:00 p.m. Queen candidates for the 2010 Winterfest are Kelsey Casey - daughter of Barb & Mike Casey, Jessica Marty - daughter of Diane & Dave Marty, Kirsty Riggert - daughter of Mandie & Tracy Studer, Gary & Christine
Riggert, & Chasity Briggs, and Saundra Vorland - daughter of Tammy & Kirk Vorland. King candidates are Nathan Chambers - son of Paula & Jon Chambers, Jay Nissen - son of Mary & Jon Nissen, Brady Otis - son of Lori & Jim Otis, and Wesley Steward - son of Shelby Thorton & Noel Steward. Attendants are juniors - Colton Florea & Nicole Genrich, sophomores - Harley Tindall and Maggie Ludwig, and freshman - Derek Studer and Megen Studer. Ruby Mitchell and Kobe Friday will be the crown bearers. There will be class games prior to coronation.

JUNIOR HIGH FUNDRAISER

The CWL Junior High will be serving a Spaghetti Supper on Saturday, January 30th before the Donkey Basketball game. Serving starts at 5:30 p.m. and goes until 7:30 p.m. Free Will donations. Proceeds will go toward the Washington DC trip.

DONKEY BASKETBALL

The CWL FFA will be sponsoring a Donkey Basketball game on Saturday, January 30th at the CWL High School starting at 7:00 p.m. Tickets may be purchased in advance for $6.00 or for $8.00 at the door - contact Jessica Marty at 515-882-3338.
