Elementary School Announcements




OCTOBER 16, 2017



  1. The 3rd and 4th Graders will be going on a field trip tomorrow to Union Slough.


  1. Wednesday Ryan Sloth will be here to present a program at 10:00 and you will be able to order books and have them signed. 


  1. There is no Preschool this Thursday.


  1. Just a reminder that there is NO SCHOOL for the CWL Elementary on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, October 23, 24 and 25th , but there will be school for the Middle School and High School those Days.  There will be NO preschool on the 23rd and 24th.
  2. Red Ribbon Week will be October 26, 27, 30 and 31st.  There will be Dress up days this week.  The first dress up day will be on October 26th will be PJ Day.  More details to come!


  1. October 30th is our next Bucket Assembly at 2:30 p.m.   Everyone should wear “RED” that day.     


  1. October 31st will be having our costume parade and many other fun things. 


  1. Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on November 2 and 7th from 4:00 to 7:30 p.m.  Your parents can start signing up.  Mrs. Enockson and Mrs. Robinson will only be here on the 7th


  1. On November 9th the 3-6 grade will be taking a field trip to a play in Mason City.  Also on the 9th there will be a Parent Training Meeting at 6:00 p.m. in the Title One Room.  Encourage your parents to attend.


  1. On November 10th we will be having a Veteran’s Day Program at our school.  Let your parents know about this.  The start time will be 10:15 a.m.  Lunch will be served to the Veteran’s. 


  1.  All three libraries will be offering programs on Early out Wednesday’s.  If you want to go to the library afterschool on Wednesday Early Outs you MUST have a note or have called the school to be dropped off at any of the libraries. 


  1. When you are leaving the school building other than if you ride the bus, you need to exit out the front main doors.  These are the only doors you should be going out. 


  1. It is National Bus Drivers Week and we would like to Thank Chuck, Linda, Dave, Dan, and Greg for getting all of us safe to school each day!  We would also like to thank Julie W. for driving when we need her.
